Indian content house Shemaroo Entertainment has tapped Kunal Wadhwani to head up its U.S. operations.
Shemaroo entered the U.S. market with the launch of its ShemarooMe video streaming service in April. Wadhwani has been with Shemaroo for over three years and has held multiple roles, including as head of social media and digital marketing.
Hiren Gada, CEO of Shemaroo, said, “Our entry into the U.S. with the launch of ShemarooMe has opened up massive opportunities, and this new role is our commitment to deliver Bollywood content across borders. Kunal’s enterprising strength and innate understanding of the digital space will be a strong fit for the U.S. market.”
