Incendo Takes Just Ask Baby

TORONTO: Incendo Media has acquired the Canadian distribution rights to Just Ask Baby, a new 12-part series designed to help first-time parents understand their infants.

The first round of half-hour episodes has just been completed and is available for broadcast in HD from Fox/Incendo Television, Incendo’s distribution co-venture with Twentieth Century Fox. Just Ask Baby is an educational series from producers Mark and Michelle Hamilton, who created the broadcast-quality online TV channel of the same name. Each episode is done from a baby’s perspective, giving parents insight into how their children develop socially, emotionally and intellectually.

The science-based talk-show features the world’s first baby "TV host," with 9-month-old Joey chatting to parents about the topic at hand. He then passes it over to one of four babies who talk through a particular part of their development, dependent on their age. The show also has its own chief scientific advisor, Dr. David Elkind, who is a renowned child psychologist, author of more than a dozen books and professor emeritus of Tufts University.

Michael Murphy, the senior VP and managing director of Fox/Incendo, commented: “Just Ask Baby is a very informative and entertaining program. We are very pleased to be introducing this innovative new information series to Canada.”
