Imira Signs Deals in Spain, Portugal

BARCELONA: Imira Entertainment has sold the new CGI Angelina Ballerina: The Next Steps to RTP of Portugal, along with scoring renewals for further series from HIT Entertainment. 

RTP picked up 40 12-minute episodes of the series, aimed at 4- to 7-year-olds. Additionally, ETB in Spain renewed seasons one and two of Pingu, and also picked up seasons three through six of the animated show. Spain’s TV Galicia renewed Pingu, as well as Sheeep

Christophe Goldberger, the head of distribution and marketing at Imira Entertainment, said: “The HIT Entertainment library is very popular in Spain and Portugal as underscored by these renewals. We’re also very pleased to extend our long-standing relationship with RTP with this new deal for Angelina Ballerina.”
