Imira Lands Iberian Sales

BARCELONA: Imira Entertainment has scored a number of deals in Iberia for its slate of third-party animation and live-action series.

In Spain, Imira secured a deal with Canal Panda España, with the pay-TV channel acquiring seven shows including Millimages’ 52×7-minute Bugged, 52×13-minute Corneil & Bernie, 52×11-minute Hilltop Hospital, 52×3-minute Monk, and 52×13-minute The Gnoufs; Iconix’s 52×7-minute Pororo; and 52×26-minute Wicked Science, which is produced by Jonathan M. Shiff Productions, FFC, Film Victoria, Network Ten and ZDF Enterprises.

Additionally, free-TV channel Euskal Telebista picked up Monk and Bugged for the Basque country, while Canal Panda in Portugal scooped up Wicked Science for pay-TV.
