Il Divo Delivers for Beta Cinema at AFM

SANTA MONICA, November 6:
Germany's Beta Cinema announced at the AFM that it has sold Paolo Sorrentino's Il Divo, about the controversial Italian
politician Giulio Andreotti, to U.S. distributor MPI Media Group, among others.

The
German-language rights to Il Divo
were acquired by Delphi Film. The production was also sold to Folkets Bio in
Sweden, Denmark's Sunrise Film, David Matous Communications for the Czech
Republic/Slovakia, Best Hollywood in Hungary and in Poland to Against Gravity
and HBO Poland for pay TV.

Philipp
Stoelzl's mountain-climbing drama North
Face
went to Italy's Lady Film and Mars Production in Turkey, while France
is in final negotiation. Machan,
Umberto Pasolini's story of a sham handball team from Sri Lanka, was sold into
France (UGC), Canada and to Switzerland's Rialto Film. Hannes Stoehr's Berlin Calling was scooped up in Hungary
(Best Hollywood) and the Czech Republic/Slovakia (David Matous Communications).
Run For Your Life will be distributed
in Hungary by Best Hollywood and in Croatia/Bosnia/Serbia by Pa-Do-Ra.
