Sky Deutschland & TMG Expand Partnership

MUNICH: Sky Deutschland and Tele München Group (TMG) have signed a new agreement for a package of film rights, with The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 and the action comedy Red among the titles included in the deal.

By extending an existing partnership, Sky secures TMG film highlights from the 2011 and 2012 movie seasons. This includes upcoming films such as The Iron Lady, which features Meryl Streep in the role of former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, and the Steven Soderbergh thriller Haywire, which features Michael Douglas, Ewan McGregor and Antonio Banderas. The deal extends to new Sky products such as Sky Go and Sky Anytime as well.

Gary Davey, the executive VP of programming at Sky Deutschland, said: "TMG is an important partner for Sky.
