IFG to Rep Australian 60 Minutes Segments in Asia

SYDNEY, September 29:
International Film Group (IFG) has secured the rights to represent Nine Network
Australia’s catalogue of locally produced 60 Minutes content in Asia across multiple platforms,
including TV, DVD and VOD.

The deal includes Nine
Network Australia’s catalogue of current and archive 60 Minutes segments, with IFG representing the current-affairs
content across free and pay TV, broadband, mobile, airline, DVD and VOD.

“To have programming with
the pedigree and esteem of 60 Minutes gives IFG a whole new breadth and scope of content to take to
market,” said Jennifer Hughes, the CEO of IFG. “We’re looking forward to
exploring distribution across the Asian region, including in the new-media
space.”

60 Minutes touches the psyche of its audiences, and the
quality of reporting is second to none,” added Martin Hersov, Nine Network
Australia’s director of commercial development. “IFG and Nine Network Australia
will work closely to share these unique and compelling news stories to an
ever-growing Asian audience.”
