Hollywood Suite Bulks Up Management Team

TORONTO: Hollywood Suite, an outfit formed by former CHUM president and CEO Jay Switzer, among other industry vets, that is set to launch four new HD channels across Canada this November, including services from both Warner Bros. and MGM, has brought on Ellen Baine, Jeremy McCarthy and Kerry Connelly to its senior management team.

Baine joins as VP of programming. She is a 33-year veteran of the Canadian broadcast industry, having served as VP of programming at CHUM and was a movie scheduler at TMN. McCarthy will serve as director of business development. Over the last 20 years, he has held consumer and product marketing roles with Canadian companies such as Bell ExpressVu, Rogers Communications, CHUM Television and Alliance Atlantic Broadcasting. Connelly is to serve as the director of marketing. Connelly began her career as a founding partner of 4th Wall Media, later joining the Toronto International Film Festival, Arts and Communications and Vision Co.

Additional appointments include Erich Neher as program manager, Ross Finkelstein as program coordinator and Sean O’Neill as producer/editor.
