HIT Names Media Mundi as Brazilian TV Agent

NEW YORK: Media Mundi has been appointed as HIT Entertainment’s TV broadcast agent in Brazil, where it has already secured distribution for Barney & Friends, Angelina Ballerina and Thomas & Friends on pubcaster TV Brasil.

As part of the multi-year agreement, this September TV Brasil started airing half-hour episodes of Barney & Friends at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and at 9:30 a.m. on Saturdays. Thomas & Friends and Angelina Ballerina began airing Monday through Friday, between 9:00 a.m. and 9:30 a.m. The programs are aired in Portuguese.
