HIT Entertainment Brings Fifi and the Flowertots to Canada

NEW YORK/TORONTO, January 23: On behalf of Chapman
Entertainment, HIT Entertainment has inked a range of Canadian broadcast and
merchandising deals for the stop-motion animated children’s series Fifi and
the Flowertots
, which will air on the
preschool channel Treehouse in February.

Starting February 25, Fifi and the Flowertots will air on Treehouse in Canada from Monday through
Friday. The show will also be featured prominently on the network’s website, treehousetv.com, with games and activities.

Additionally, HIT has selected Danawares to be the master
toy licensee for Fifi and the Flowertots
in Canada. Under the multi-year deal, Danawares would develop, manufacture and
market a full line of products based on Fifi and the Flowertots. Expected to launch in fall 2008, the toys would
cover multiple categories, including playsets, plush, puzzles, games and
role-play items.

One of the Boys will debut a full line of Fifi apparel. The new Fifi master apparel line, scheduled for launch at retail this
fall, will include sportswear, long and short-sleeved shirts and sets,
sweatshirts, sweaters and more, in a complete range of preschool sizes.
Adorable Kids Sleepwear has also been tapped to design and market Fifi
sleepwear, including pajamas and loungewear
in sizes 0 to 16, for launch in tandem with the clothing line.

Fifi and the Flowertots
follows Fifi, a Forget-Me-Not who forgets a lot, and her group of little
Flowertot friends as they go about their lives in Flowertot Garden.

“Treehouse, Danawares, One of the Boys and Adorable Kids
Sleepwear—all of whom we’ve been proud to work with for many years on
HIT’s leading properties—are well-poised to grow Fifi into a household name in Canada,” said Pam Westman,
the senior VP of HIT Entertainment in Canada. “This loveable flowertot has
already taken the world by storm with ratings success and record-breaking sales
across categories and across oceans, and we’re confident that Canadian children
will embrace her the same way.”

Greg Lynn, the managing director and executive producer of
Chapman Entertainment, added, “I am delighted that Treehouse is joining the
list of first-class television stations who broadcast Fifi around the world and am thrilled they have chosen to
help make Fifi a star in Canada.
We are very excited about airing in Canada and along with our stellar list of
licensees have ambitious plans to continue working closely together with HIT
Entertainment to ensure Fifi spreads
her charm and fun to all Canadian preschoolers.”
