History Channel en Español Presents The Mexican Revolution

NEW YORK, November 17: History Channel en Español will present a two-hour special, The Mexican Revolution, on Monday, November 20 at 8 p.m., Eastern Time.

The program explores the defining event that shaped Mexico’s destiny: the Revolution of 1910, which lasted more than a decade and consumed hundreds of thousands of lives. The premiere date of the special is the anniversary of the Revolution’s start.

The Revolution resulted in the ouster of the country’s elected dictator, Porfirio Diaz, by a group of caudillos. Its heroes include Pancho Villa and Emiliano Zapata.

The Mexican Revolution uses archival footage, re-enactments shot in Mexico, and interviews with American and Mexican historians. It was produced for The History Channel by Lou Reda Productions in association with Clio Productions, Mexico City. Marlene Braga is executive producer for The History Channel en Español.
