HBO Premium Programming Headed to PlayStation

FOSTER CITY: Starting today, original programming from HBO is available on the PlayStation3 gaming system through a deal signed by Sony Computer Entertainment America (SCEA).

HBO content is now available for purchase in the U.S. on the PlayStation3 and PSP systems through the PlayStation Network’s video delivery service. At launch, shows such as True Blood, seasons one and two; Big Love, seasons one through three; the first two seasons of Entourage and the first season of Eastbound and Down are available. There’s also multiple seasons of HBO signature shows such as The Sopranos, Sex and the City, The Wire, Rome, Da Ali G Show, Curb Your Enthusiasm and Flight of the Conchords. More titles and additional seasons will be added each week.

"When you combine the iconic programming from HBO with the existing TV, film, live sports and original programming available on PlayStation Network, our customers have access to the content they want, when they want it, at home or on the go with the PSP."
