HBO Asia Expands HD Feed

SINGAPORE: HBO Asia has expanded its HD footprint to Taiwan following rollouts of the premium movie service’s HD channel in Singapore, Hong Kong and the Philippines.

HBO is the first regional movie channel to broadcast in high definition in Asia. In Taiwan, HBO in HD is now available on kbro co. Ltd and Taiwan Broadband Communications. Further regional rollout is expected in the coming months. HBO in high definition is programmed and packaged in English out of Singapore together with closed-captioned subtitling.
