Hasbro Studios

What are some of the titles Hasbro Studios already has in the works?

As of MIPCOM, we’ve been up and running for a little more than 30 days, so nothing is yet definitive. Obviously, high on our list of Hasbro brands are titles like Romper Room, Trivial Pursuit, Scrabble, Cranium, My Little Pony, G.I. Joe, Game Of Life, Tonka and Transformers, among many others.

Why do you think these will appeal to the international market?

Hasbro owns an amazing portfolio of beloved brands that have achieved sustained global recognition. Our move into television provides another powerful entertainment tent-pole for delivering great content through television, online and mobile platforms all over the world.

How are you identifying brands from within the Hasbro portfolio to develop into TV series?

We are currently staffing Hasbro Studios with a seasoned and dynamic team of the best and brightest creative talent from the community to maximize the almost limitless potential of the Hasbro brands.

What are your broad goals for MIPCOM?

MIPCOM is the ideal venue to introduce Hasbro Studios to the international content community. I’ve worked in this arena for a long time. I’ve never been more excited than I am now to have the opportunity to share our vision with long-time colleagues and to reach out to some of the newer players in our business.
