Hasbro Set to Release New Star Wars Toys

PAWTUCKET, July 23: Hasbro
will launch a toy line on July 26 for the new animated film Star Wars: The
Clone Wars, in addition to other
items for the franchise, including a Millennium Falcon toy, action figures and
a lightsaber.

Toys in the new line
include a clone trooper voice-changer helmet that includes signature phrases
and a voice amplifier; the six-legged Clone Wars vehicle AT-TE, which can
transport 20 clone troopers; an ultimate lightsaber that can create more than a
thousand different combinations; and a set of 28 action figures. Hasbro also is
releasing the largest Millennium Falcon toy ever designed.

Animation, will be released August 15 and will become a weekly series on
Cartoon Network starting in the fall, followed by airings on TNT. The film
takes place between Episode II Attack of the Clones and Episode III Revenge of the Sith, when the galaxy is consumed by a massive civil
war between the Separatists and the Republic.
