Guerra Upped at MTVN Latin America

BUENOS AIRES,
March 11: As part of MTV Networks Latin America’s regionalization strategy in
South and Central America, Paula Guerra has been promoted to senior VP and
managing director of MTV Networks Argentina.

In the
newly-created post, Guerra will oversee all of MTV Networks Latin America’s
service departments in its Buenos Aires headquarters. Among the departments she
will be responsible for are on-air, traffic, operations, legal, communications,
some aspects of production management, finance, as well as the programming and
production services originating in Buenos Aires. Additionally, Guerra will
continue supervising and coordinating business and creative strategies for MTV,
VH1 and Nickelodeon to carry out the needs of the company’s local audience as
well as its commercial partners in the southern region of Latin America. These
areas will report to supervisors in Miami and Argentina, while Guerra will
continue reporting directly to Pierluigi Gazzolo, the president of MTV Networks
Latin America.

Guerra joined
the company in 1997 as a manager of ad sales for Nickelodeon in Argentina, and
in 2002 was named general manager of MTV Networks Argentina.

Additionally,
Alexia Dahuach has been promoted to VP of operations and administration for MTV
Networks Argentina. In this position, Dahuach will be responsible for the
administration of various departments that Guerra will oversee, reporting to
Guerra.
