GSN Names Wiegman Production VP

SANTA MONICA, May 25: Jean
Wiegman has been named as VP of production at GSN, reporting to Jamie Roberts,
the senior VP of programming at the channel.

In her new role, Wiegman
supervises all aspects of physical production of series and specials. She is
responsible for overseeing line producers, budgets and production logistics.
Her previous production credits include series such as GSN’s I’ve Got A
Secret, the award-winning Mickey
Mouse Club and It’s A Miracle. She has served as executive producer on the game
shows Trivia Unwrapped and the
lifestyle programs Rock Gardens
and Cooking in Italy. Wiegman
has also served as the co-executive producer on Alf’s Hit Talk Show, and consulted on The New Tom Green Show. She
was also an executive consultant on the New York-based pilot of Crossing
Over with John Edward.
