GRB Entertainment has entered into a new partnership with TV One for a slate of 11 series spanning nearly 200 hours of programming that will be showcased at MIPCOM.

The agreement includes Born Again Virgin, a sitcom focused on the tumultuous world of dating, and Here We Go Again, a comedy about a woman who finds out that she’s pregnant after making plans to focus on herself.

There are also the true-crime highlights #Murder, which looks at homicides involving social media; For My Man, about women who commit crimes of passion; and Find Our Missing, centered on people who have disappeared.

In addition, the package includes the reality series Rickey Smiley for Real, following a radio host balancing his career and home life, and The Next 15, about six former reality show stars trying to become famous again.

“GRB is thrilled to partner with TV One to bring these 11 incredible shows to the international market for the first time,” said Michael Lolato, the senior VP of international distribution at GRB Entertainment. “From top-rated scripted comedy to cutting-edge crime formats, TV One proves that they are gifted storytellers and leaders in production, and we look forward to introducing this package of programming to our global broadcast partners.”

“The team at TV One is very proud of our new slate and excited that our partners, GRB, will be launching these titles at MIPCOM and DISCOP Africa,” added Michelle Rice, TV One’s interim general manager. “We’re confident that these programs will resonate with viewers around the world and be just as successful as they are in the U.S.”

Another highlight on offer from GRB is the thriller Day 5, set in the immediate aftermath of a fatal sleep epidemic, during which most of the world has died in their beds. The 14×1-hour series “capitalizes on the current post-apocalyptic trend,” said Lolato. “The twist here: you’ll stay alive as long as you stay awake! This sets the scene for an incredibly unique, high-anxiety, action drama.”

The company is also promoting the sci-fi dramedy Crunch Time. “We are really excited to announce season five of the hit dramedy Mohawk Girls,” added Lolato. “This award-winning series continues to increase in popularity as the audience follows four young women who are just trying to find love amid the constant interference of family, friends and cultural traditions.”

In Man at Arms, expert craftsmen recreate deadly, iconic weapons from film, TV and video games, while historians explore their real-life origins as game changers in the art of war. “Man at Arms is the perfect scenario for fans to see fictional weapons come to life, and no one has ever done this before,” noted Lolato.

Exposed uncovers the truth behind crimes committed against celebrities, telling stories they have previously remained silent about. “There are two sides to every story, and for the first time ever, you’ll get to hear from the people whose lives were altered drastically because of a criminal’s decisions,” stated Lolato.

And in Super Fan Builds, Hollywood’s top prop makers build one-of-a-kind items for fans of comic books, video games and movies. “Whether you’re a fan of classic films like Back to the Future or a Minecraft-obsessed gamer, you’ll be blown away by the creations [in Super Fan Builds],” added Lolato.
