Granada Inks First Look Deal with Quickfire Media

LONDON, August 30: Granada International has secured first
look access to Quickfire Media’s upcoming drama projects as part of a
development deal with the Bristol-based independent.

Quickfire currently has two new dramas in development, Botany
Bay
and Burke and Hare. Botany Bay is a series from the BAFTA-winning writer Mike Bullen (Cold
Feet, Life Begins
), and the two-hour drama Burke
and Hare
is from Lucy Gannon (Soldier
Soldier, Peak Practice, Bramwell, Trip Trap
).
The deal will also see Granada offered first-look rights for drama projects
going forward.
