Granada Inks First-Look Deal with Format Creator

LONDON, September 26: Granada International has concluded a
first-look deal with the format creator and producer Mast Media, granting it the
exclusive rights to distribute Mast Media’s formats outside the U.K. and the
U.S.

In addition, Granada America will have the exclusive option
to distribute and produce Mast Media formats within the U.S.

Granada International has already committed funds to pilot
selected ideas, which will be produced by Mast Media’s production arm and
executive produced by Mast Media directors Mark Baker and Steve Havers.

Granada International is also acquiring the distribution
rights to finished programs based on Mast Formats and all ancillary rights.

Mast Media was set up by Baker and Havers in April 2000. Its
credits include Best Inventions, Born
to Win, Oblivious and The Big Call.
