LONDON: The British talk-show host Graham Norton is to front the new BBC America original comedy panel series Would You Rather?, featuring celebrity guests such as Whoopi Goldberg, Cyndi Lauper, Stanley Tucci and more.

Would You Rather? with Graham Norton is currently filming in New York City in front of a live studio audience and will premiere on November 5 as part of BBC America’s Ministry of Laughs comedy block. The show features celebrities and comedians contemplating ridiculous predicaments and moral quandaries: Would you rather permanently lose your thumbs or a cousin? Would you rather eat dog food for a year or get shot in the knee? After debating, the panelists must ultimately decide what they’d rather do and Graham picks his favorite response. The series is a So Television (The Graham Norton Show) production for BBC America.

"When they asked me, would I rather sit in London watching television with my dogs or spend three weeks in New York with some of the brightest and funniest people in the States—it was a very easy decision to make," Norton said.

“BBC America asked us if we would rather come to our favorite city in the world to make a hilarious panel show with brilliant comedians. Or not. We’re going to get back to them soon,” said Graham Stuart, the executive producer and co-founder of So Television.

Jim Biederman, executive producer, added: “I am thrilled to be working with Graham Norton and BBC America on Would You Rather? with Graham Norton. Being a big fan of both, it’s pretty much a dream job.”
