Globo’s Two Faces Debuts in the U.S.

SÃO PAULO: Globo TV International’s prime-time drama Two Faces has debuted on Mega TV, and is one of six telenovelas the Brazilian outfit currently has on air in the U.S. 

Two Faces, written by Aguinaldo Silva, talks about the human obsession with power, and themes such as vengeance and racial discrimination. The partnership between Mega TV and Globo TV began two years ago. Since then, several telenovelas have been aired: Belíssima, Soul Mate, Pepper Chocolate and recently Little Missy. Part of the Spanish Broadcasting System, Mega TV currently covers the Miami, West Palm Beach, Orlando, Tampa Charleston, Palm Springs and Las Vegas areas, among other,s through their DTH deal with DirecTV.

"Currently we have six telenovelas that are being transmitted in the U.S.A," said Raphael Corrêa Netto, the director of international sales at Globo. "This territory represents an important market to Globo TV International, and the premiere of Two Faces strengthens our presence in this key market."
