Globo TV Sports Heads to Sportel Asia

SÃO PAULO: Globo TV Sports is heading to Sportel Asia in Singapore next week with a package of Brazilian football matches.

Brazilian Football Magic is an annual package of 82 matches from the best championships in the country, transmitted live, with narration, commentary and statistics in English.  “Brazilian football is passing through a great moment in 2010," said Marcelo Spinola, the director of Globo TV Sports. "Great names such as Ronaldo ‘Phenomenon’, Adriano ‘Emperor’, winger Roberto Carlos, striker Fred and the latest addition, Robinho, have returned to national football. With the return of so many stars to Brazil and together with an unending crop of new talent that emerges every year, we have bolstered even further the difference of Magic Football for the Asian market."

Globo TV Sports broadcasts Brazilian football to more than 150 countries all around the world. In addition to Brazilian Magic Football, it will be at Sportel Asia with the weekly program FootBrazil.
