Globo Novela Debuts in Slovenia

SÃO PAULO: Globo TV International’s telenovela India: A Love Story was picked up by Pink TV in Slovenia and debuted on October 14.

India: A Love Story, which has already been sold to 90 countries, is a drama that deals with the differences between Brazilian and Indian culture, showing that love can overcome any obstacle. It stars Juliana Paes (The Favourite), Rodrigo Lombardi (Forbidden Desire), Tony Ramos (Family Ties), Lima Duarte (Shades of Sin), Cléo Pires (America) and Vera Fischer (Two Faces).

It was written by International Emmy Award-winning author of The Clone, Glória Perez. India: A Love Story was produced with a budget of $50 million, shooting more than 40 days in India and Dubai, and constructing three scenographic cities at Globo’s production center to reproduce the Indian landscapes in Rio de Janeiro.
