Globo Launches New Raft of Documentaries

SÃO PAULO: Globo TV International has nine more episodes to add to the GloboDOC series, following on the success of the previous two seasons.

GloboDOC is a series that offers a Brazilian perspective on Brazil. Themes cover culture, popular festivals, personalities and nature. One of the highlight subjects in this new season is the title "Brazil 2014: The Cup of Hope," which will show the country and its people as they prepare for the next World Cup. This will include issues such as transport, security, services and stadiums.

Further installments in the third season include "Carnaval: Streets of Happiness," "Energy: A Source Called Brazil," "Secret Rituals" and "Villa Lobos: The Music of a Nation."
