Global Screen Lands Pinocchio Presales

MUNICH: A host of broadcasters have already signed up for the high-budget mini-series Pinocchio, with Global Screen clinching presales with, among others, RTV Slovenija and Ceska Televize.

In addition to the Czech Republic and Slovenia, the partly animated mini has also been presold in Slovakia with Slovenska Televizia. The Russian distributor Mauris Film picked up all rights and is considering a theatrical release for early 2014.

Pinocchio is currently in post-production. It’s scheduled to air this holiday season in Germany on national pubcaster ARD.
