ISTANBUL: Global Agency has received offers from the U.S. Hispanic market and a host of European territories for the Show TV Turkish drama Magnificent Century, which was launched to the international market at MIPTV.

Broadcasters in Spanish-speaking U.S.A., Italy, Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia, Croatia, Ukraine, the Middle East and Slovakia are eager to acquire the show, Global Agency said. The final network lineup will be announced June 30.

“Given the tremendous success of Magnificent Century in Turkey, all of us at Global Agency knew this remarkable series would have great worldwide appeal," said Izzet Pinto, CEO of Global Agency, which picked up the rights to the series just ahead of MIPTV. "However, the response we are receiving is nothing short of spectacular. To be offering this series, the most ambitious in Turkish TV history, is a great thrill for me personally. We are currently reviewing each offer and will be finalizing deals within the coming weeks.”

Produced by TIMS Productions, season one of the prime-time drama consisted of 23 90-minute episodes. A further two seasons are under way.
