Disney XD On Board New Nerd Corps Show

LONDON: The Walt Disney Company’s London-based production hub for EMEA is working with Canada’s Nerd Corps Entertainment and YTV on the new animated comedy Rated A for Awesome, which is set to make its debut this June in the U.S.

The series will premiere on Disney XD in more than 129 countries worldwide, including the U.S., U.K., across EMEA and Latin America and parts of Asia. It follows the adventures of four ordinary kids and a monkey with perfect hair on a quest to make their world more awesome. The EMEA production hub team, led by Marc Buhaj, senior VP of original programming for Disney Channels EMEA, worked with Asaph Fipke, the head of Nerd Corps and the series’ creator, to complete delivery of 52 episodes for launch this year.
