Global Adds to Lineup

TORONTO: Canada’s Global TV has made new additions to its prime-time schedule, including the murder-mystery series Harper’s Island.

Premiering on April 9, Harper’s Island follows a group of family and friends who travel to a secluded island for a wedding. In each episode, someone is killed and everyone is considered a suspect. The show will have a 13-week run.

Sit Down, Shut Up joins Global’s Sunday night animation lineup on April 19. From the creator of Arrested Development, the series features the antics of a group of men and women working at a public school. The series stars Jason Bateman, Henry Winkler, Cheri Oteri, Kristin Chenoweth and Will Arnett.

The new one-hour series The Unusuals will debut on April 8. The show follows the world of New York City police detectives, where every cop has a secret.

The final season of Prison Break will launch in prime time on April 17. Slated for only six more episodes, the series will conclude with a two-hour finale on May 15.
