Geronimo Stilton Notches Up New Broadcasters

MILAN/PARIS: Atlantyca Entertainment and Moonscoop have added a number of deals to the roster for the fully completed first season of Geronimo Stilton, based on the popular book series of the same name.

Chello Central Europe took the series for its basic cable and satellite channel Minimax across Central and Eastern Europe. Hungary’s Cantabrava went for home-video rights, with plans for a Christmas 2009 release. The series has also been sold to Israel’s Noga.

"These new deals reflect the early popularity of the series and famed character," said Luana Perrero, the sales manager for Atlantyca Entertainment. "We are delighted to have these new broadcast partners for the series, we are thrilled at the response we’ve have received, Geronimo fans are global and the series is certain to be a hit with young viewers everywhere."
