German Screenings to Take Place in Vienna

COLOGNE, November 21:
German United Distributors, along with Telepool, Deutsche Welle and the
Austrian broadcaster ORF, will welcome international television buyers to the
German Screenings, which will be held in the Le Meridien Hotel in Vienna from
December 3 to 7.

The organizers have
announced that three weeks prior to the event, 30 percent more buyers have
already registered for this year’s event compared to last year’s.

Among the programs being
offered this year are: the series Life With Max, based on the newspaper columns of popular author
Axel Hacke, from Bavaria Media Television; the films The Man in the Current, My Sister’s Child, and My Mother, Dancing from Studio Hamburg; and the documentaries Losers
and Winners and Life Under
Napoleon from German United
Distributors.
