Gavin Reardon’s New Venture Offers Up Action Titles at MIPTV

LOS ANGELES, April 10: Launched at the end of last year by
former GRB Worldwide chief Gavin Tyler Reardon, …and action! Distribution will
be exhibiting at MIPTV for the first time, showcasing two new action films: Wake
Up and Die and High Rise.

“Our exclusive deal with Action Concept of Germany has
provided us with tremendous properties to distribute and we are delighted with
the gains we have made in a very short period of time,” commented Reardon.

Wake Up and Die is a thriller
in which average everyday people are unknowingly brainwashed and unleashed as
weapons of death and destruction on the streets and speeding autobahns of
Germany. High Rise is a martial
arts action film in which the hero must fight his way floor by floor of an old
high rise apartment building in order to save his girlfriend who has been
abducted by the local crime boss.

The company also comes to MIPTV with a slate of broadcast
and representation deals concluded on its action film Crash Kids: Trust No
One, which was acquired by TF1 (France),
AMG Entertainment (Japan), Chus Enterprises (China), Sogecable (Spain), Private
Cinema (Greece), Coral Pictures (Korea); and Eastern European Acquisition Pool.

Acquisition Pool also opted for the 90-minute action film Dekker
the Trucker, which was also acquired by
Beijing Time Entertainment in China.
