Gabrielle Anwar Set for New Hallmark Movie

LOS ANGELES: Gabrielle Anwar (Burn Notice) and Craig Sheffer (One Tree Hill) lead the cast of a new Hallmark Channel original movie, tentatively titled Murder Among Friends, which has begun production in Vancouver for a 2010 premiere. 

The movie centers on Joss Jenner (Anwar), who joins her old college girlfriends for a bridal shower that turns into a crime scene when one friend is found dead, presumed to have been murdered. Sheriff Zach Watts (Sheffer) and local authorities begin an investigation. 

Murder Among Friends is being produced by Front Street Productions. Joe Lawlor (The Secret Lives of Second Wives) and Laurie Goldstein (August Gone, Sharing the Secret) are the executive producers. Harvey Kahn (Debbie Macomber’s Mrs. Miracle) is the producer. Walter Klenhard (Murder 101: Locked Room Mystery) is the writer and director.
