G4 Gives Second-Season Order for Animated Comedy

LOS ANGELES, April 18: G4
has ordered another season of Code Monkeys, premiering June 1, and will kick off the series’ return with a
special episode featuring guest star Tommy Chong, on April 20 at 5 p.m.

(The Man Show, Crank Yankers), Code Monkeys follows the misadventures of the staff at
GameAvision, a video-game company, in a throwback 8-bit style that parodies the
pop culture and video games of the 1980s. G4 will air a new early episode of
the series as part of its “4/20” night of programming.

“Code Monkeys authentic, old-school video-game theme resonates
with our young male audience, many of whom are rather familiar with the 8-bit
style of retro gaming," said Neal Tiles, the president of G4. "The series
has been a huge success for G4, reaching more than 20 million viewers in its

are in for another wild ride summer with the all-new second season."
