Further CEE Rollout for HISTORY

NEW YORK/LONDON: Bulgarian operator Bulsatcom has added HISTORY to its channel lineup.

“HISTORY is the newest entertaining and educational channel added to the portfolio of Bulsatcom,” said Kalin Sredkov, commercial director at the platform. “Our strategy goal is to provide our subscribers with high quality TV channels and HISTORY, as a respected and established global brand, is definitely suitable for our platform."

Elsewhere in Central Europe, HISTORY is carried in Poland, Hungary, Romania, Serbia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Montenegro.The carriage deal was inked by AETN UK, a joint venture between A&E Television Networks and BSkyB. The venture operates the AETN International stable of brands in the U.K., as well as HISTORY and HISTORY HD in Scandinavia, the Benelux, Central Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa, Greece and the Middle East.
