TORONTO, June 10:
Following the debut of the English-language feed of TELETOON Retro last fall,
TELETOON Canada will launch a French-language version of its classic cartoon

The rollout of a
French-language feed expands the total distribution of TELETOON Retro to more

TÉLÉTOON Rétro, Bugs Bunny et Tweety will air each Saturday and Sunday night from 7 p.m. on the TELETOON
French-language network from July 5.

The English-language
TELETOON Retro channel will also be available on illico Digital TV from
September, featuring content like The Flintstones, Merrie Melodies, The Smurfs and Fraggle Rock.

Since launching on October
1, 2007, TELETOON Retro has risen become the number two digital specialty
channel with audiences 2 and older, and is number one with moms and kids. The
digital channel has also claimed the top spot among teenagers aged 12 to 17.

TELETOON Retro is now
available on Access Communications, Bluewater TV Cable and Ex-Cen Cablevision,

bringing cartoon favorites to Francophone homes and I’m sure that this new
channel will prove to be just as popular as its English counterpart.”
