FremantleMedia Offers Up Broadband Comedy

LONDON, July 13: FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME) has
granted Arts Alliance Media the rights
to deliver up to 200 hours of its classic comedy titles to broadband Internet
users in the U.K.

Programming will be
sourced from the FremantleMedia and talkbackTHAMES catalogues and will include Men
Behaving Badly
, Goodnight
Sweetheart
and Tommy
Cooper
, among others.
Titles can be downloaded to PCs and certain portable devices on a rent or
download-to-own basis. The rollout begins later this summer via a dedicated
website as well as through Arts Alliance Media’s
download partners, LOVEFiLM (www.lovefilm.com),
and AOL (www.aol.co.uk).
Other distribution partners are expected to be announced soon.
