Frantic Films Reveals Expanded Summer Slate

TORONTO: Frantic Films’ expanded summer slate, featuring more than 30 hours of programming, includes new seasons of the series Pitchin’ In and Princess, the second season of Todd and the Book of Pure Evil and Keep Your Head Up Kid: The Sequel.

In the 13×30-minute third season of the Food Network’s Pitchin’ In, chef Lynn Crawford travels across North America searching for the freshest ingredients. The 32×1-hour season two of Slice’s Princess takes on spoiled shoppers bad spending habits. Both series are distributed by Cineflix.

The horror-comedy series Todd and the Book of Pure Evil, about a high school metalhead who must save the world, returns with a second season. Season one won a Hugo Television Award and two Houston World Film and Television Festival awards.

The two-part two-hour CBC mini-series Keep Your Head Up Kid: The Sequel chronicles the life of Canadian hockey personality Don Cherry.
