France Télévisions Stocks Up on Kids’ Fare

PARIS: France Télévisions has inked a new deal with Warner Bros. for animated content, and acquired a range of other shows for its LUDO youth brand.

The Warner Bros. renewal covers the exclusive terrestrial rights to a slate of animated content. The four-year deal brings Warner Bros.’s animation catalogue to the LUDO blocks on France 3, France 4 and France 5, as well as to the monludo.fr website.

In addition, the pubcaster has picked up several shows for France 5’s LUDO Zouzous block, including an adaptation of Word World, called locallyWord World—le monde des mots. The block will also air The Jim Henson Company’s Dinosaur Train, Classic Media’s Tinga Tinga Tales, DECODE’s Martha Speaks and Moonscoop’s Chloe’s Closet.

France Télévisions also identified upcoming launches for the LUDO block on France 3, 4 and 5, including Dream Kix, Suckers, Twisted Whiskers and Garfield Fun Fest.
