Fox Reality to Debut Second Season of Solitary in August

LOS ANGELES, January 25:
Fox Reality is bringing back the series Solitary for a second season in August.

The first season of Solitary
debuted last June and featured participants that were pushed to their
mental and physical limits with intense tests and treatments. It became one of
the ten-most-downloaded series during its first week in the iTunes store, in
terms of both season purchases and individual episode purchases. The second
season of the series, titled Solitary 2.0, is currently in pre-production, and is executive produced and
co-created by Andrew Golder. Solitary 2.0 is expected to include more grueling psychological tests and tougher
physical treatments, and the last person standing will walk away with a cash
prize of $50,000. Fox Reality has begun a two-week national casting call for Solitary
2.0.

David Lyle, the COO and GM
of Fox Reality, commented: "Solitary entered into uncharted territory in the reality world. Solitary
2.0
will push the limits of human
tolerance even further and allow our viewers to go along for the ride while,
luckily for them, watching comfortably from their homes. No reality show puts
mental and physical stamina to the test like Solitary 2.0.”
