Food Network Bolsters UK Team

LONDON: Food Network UK has hired Sue Walton as the consultant head of commissioning and original content, while Kate Bradshaw has been tapped as consultant head of digital.

Walton will be based in London, with responsibility for series development, identifying local talent and commissioning and executive producing original productions, regional productions and co-productions. She previously held senior programming roles at ITV, BBC and UKTV. "We are excited to welcome Sue Walton to Food Network UK," said Nick Thorogood, the managing director of Food Network EMEA. "Sue’s world-class expertise in production and commissioning are a tremendous asset to the network. She will lead the way for expanding Food Network UK’s locally produced programming efforts."

Bradshaw will be reporting the Thorogood as part of the London-based team. Her responsibilities include developing and driving the network’s digital initiatives. Bradshaw most recently served as the deputy managing director and head of online commissioning for ITV.com, and previous roles were held with IMG Creative, Tiger Aspect and Darlow Smithson.
