FME Unveils DISCOP Slate

LONDON, May 19:
FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME) will head to this year’s DISCOP with a diverse
catalogue, spanning genres such as reality, drama and travel.

Oprah’s Big Give is a highlight of FME’s reality offerings. The
8×1-hour program features Oprah Winfrey challenging contestants to take a
cross-country journey to change the lives of complete strangers by surprising
them with their generosity. The fly-on-the-wall series DEA follows the inner workings of the Drug Enforcement
Agency, while She’s Got the Look features
women aged 35-plus competing to be named the perfect mature model. The Celebrity
Apprentice
, featuring Donald Trump
with a group of celebrities who are competing for money to give to the charity
of their choice, will also be
on offer for buyers at DISCOP.

Additionally, FME will be
offering series created by The Travel Channel. Anthony Bourdain: No
Reservations
features the
eponymous chef and food writer exploring different parts of the globe and
giving his honest observations. Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmern features a fellow chef and food writer tasting his
way around the world. Celebrity chef Jamie Oliver stars in two new specials: Jamie’s
Fowl Dinners
and Eat to Save
Your Life
.

In the drama category,
FME’s slate includes The Best Years,
which returns for a second season of 8×1-hour episodes that follows Samantha
Best in another term at Charles University in Boston.
