FME Makes New Hire for Brand-Management Team

LONDON: Kate Schlomann has been appointed the executive VP of brand management and marketing at FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME).

In the newly created position, Schlomann will be based in London and report to David Ellender, the global CEO. She will be responsible for the strategy and management of FME brands around the world and the global corporate marketing function for the company as of November.

Prior to this, Schlomann was the VP of international brand management for Nickelodeon and Viacom Consumer Products, where she managed brand and retail strategies and oversaw the creative for all licensed product for the international CP business across properties including Dora the Explorer and SpongeBob SquarePants.

“Kate’s background is impeccable; her experience with huge global kids’ brands, in major studio environments and in the licensing and retail space makes her the ideal candidate and we look forward to welcoming her to the FME family,” Ellender said.
