LONDON: FremantleMedia Enterprises (FME) has secured the international distribution rights to the Pacific Productions series Baking Made Easy, hosted by supermodel-turned-patisserie-chef Lorraine Pascale.

FME’s distribution rights exclude the U.S., Canada, the U.K. and Ireland. The series became BBC Two’s number one cookery series in 2011, attracting 2.7 million viewers. Pascale shares baking tips in each episode, which features old favorites and new twists on modern classic recipes.

David Ellender, the global CEO at FME, said, “FME have a premium catalogue of lifestyle and cookery shows and Lorraine Pascale’s Baking Made Easy will fit in extremely well. We are positive that her baking series will be popular amongst our international buyers.”

Rachel Purnell, the managing director Pacific Productions, added, “There is already an international buzz about this series and a lot of interest, so we are delighted that FME is going to distribute it and look forward to working with them.”
