Flor Latina Reports Successful MIPCOM

BUENOS AIRES, October 28: Flor Latina shored up a number of format and finished-program deals at MIPCOM across its newly
expanded catalogue.

Led by Silvana D’Angelo with new partner Pablo Rossi, Flor Latina
presented a diverse slate to clients at the market, with products from
producers and directors such as Pablo Muszalski and Sergio Piasek (Win TV),
Sebastián Ortega and Alejandro Corniola (Underground), Diego and Fernando Gvirtz
(PPT) and Eugenio Restano (Teledoce Uruguay).

Among the shows that attracted the interest of buyers was My Beloved Housekeeper (Amo de casa), with Greek outfit Anosi
producing a local version. Also in Greece, Kapa Films picked up the format
rights to Hired Husband (Marido a sueldo) and Finding Rodrigo (El Auténtico Rodrigo leal).

In Russia, New Media Distribution picked up the rights to develop
a version of My Beloved Housekeeper (Amo de casa), while Red Media opted for
the Uruguayan docudrama Urban Tales (Voces Anónimas).

The teen-skewing High
Mountain
(Alta montaña), already licensed to Spain’s Antena 3,
is in advanced negotiations for format pickups in Chile, Mexico and Russia, and
there is interest from France, Romania, Turkey and other markets for the
finished version.

Other titles that caught the interest of buyers were the game-show
formats Monosabios and Plan V, the thriller Santiso, the reality series Cadena de favores and the dramas Swindlers, Primera dama se busca, Soccerville
and Forbidden Love.
