Flor Latina Adds to NATPE Slate

BUENOS AIRES: Flor Latina Entertainment Group has secured two new distribution agreements ahead of NATPE, one with Pleifilms for a musical telenovela and another with Che Contenidos for a comedy series.

From Pleifilms, Stars (Music in your Blood) is a story of music, dance and youthful romance, along with mystery and suspense. The youth-skewed novela stars Mirta Busnelli (The Successful Pells), Luis Ziembrowsky (Lalola) and Celina Font (Teen Angels), among others. The series is set in a theater academy where teens are trained in special areas, but also the director of the the institute is hiding a sinister plot.

From Che Contenidos comes Room for Three, a comedy starring by  Felipe Colombo (Rebelde Way), Diego Mesaglio (Chiquititas) and Mercedes Funes (Men of Honor). Room for Three tells the story of a young gay man who wants to be a great actor, but he is jobless and can’t afford the proper schooling. His idea for making money is to then sub-rent his apartment to two men without telling them that they will share the place with each other—one works during the day, while the other works at night.

Also on offer from Flor Latina is Swindlers, Easy Money, Titos vs Titas and Dromo. Other products include the new season of Urban Sales. There is also exclusive programming for the World Cup such as 2010 Pre Soccer Season, Football Flash, One Million Tournament and Argentinean League Stars. The theatrical movie The Legend and the fiction formats round out the slate, along with documentaries like Concert for the Whales.
