Five Recommissions Three Top Series

LONDON, October 24: Extreme
Fishing
, Warship and The Hotel Inspector are all set to return to Five in the U.K. with new
seasons.

The second season of Extreme
Fishing
will follow host Robson
Green into the sub-zero temperatures of Northern America, then onto a fishing
expedition in the warmer areas of Australia and New Zealand. Robson will be
hunting for fish that can be caught between November and January, venturing
from the North and South Pacific to the Western Indian Ocean.

Also heading into its
second season is Warship. The
new episodes will feature a Royal Navy deployment involving more than 12 ships
and a crew of 4,000. The deployment, codenamed Taurus, involves some of the
largest war-ready machines in the Royal Navy.

The Hotel Inspector, presented by Alex Polizzi, heads into its fifth
season. Polizzi will cast her expert eyes on a number of hotels to bring them
up to the high standards she’s trained for.

Five’s director of
programs, Ben Gale, said: “It’s
testament to the talent of the programming team and the strength of the Five
schedule this year that more and more of our original programming is being
recommissioned. The fact we have three high-quality series such as these
returning, all of which are shown in the heart of prime time, demonstrates our
original content is increasingly proving a hit with viewers.”
