Five Names New Scheduling Head

LONDON, June 13: Five has named
the BBC’s Richard Brent its head of scheduling, with him due to take up the
position later this year.

Brent will report directly to
Jay Hunt, Five’s incoming director of programs, when she joins the channel from
the BBC later in the year. He is currently the head of planning and scheduling
daytime and early peak at the BBC, where he was instrumental in the strategy
that led to brands such as Great British Menu and Shopping the Supermarkets moving into peak.
