LOS ANGELES: FOX International Channels (FIC) has appointed Stuart Tenzer, a seasoned business affairs exec, as the company's senior VP of business and legal affairs.

In his new role, Tenzer will oversee FIC's global negotiations with major studios, collaborating with Hernan Lopez, FIC's president and CEO. He will negotiate agreements on new, original FIC programming, including Outcast and False Flag. He will also manage all international business affairs needs for the company's existing catalogue of such worldwide hits as The Walking Dead and The Bridge. He will work out of Los Angeles under Kelly Cline, the executive VP of business and legal affairs for entertainment at Fox Cable Networks (FCN), and Rita Tuzon, the executive VP and general counsel for Fox Networks Group (FNG).

Previously, Tenzer worked for Coast Road Media, an entertainment and media consulting firm that he founded in 2009. Earlier in his career, he served as senior VP of William Morris Endeavor Entertainment and spent 15 years at William Morris Agency.

Lopez commented: "Most of the global studios and creative community we do business with run business affairs out of Los Angeles. In order to strengthen our connections with them, I am thrilled to count on an executive of the caliber and experience of Stuart Tenzer."

"I have enormous respect for the innovative deals FIC has brokered on the scripted side in the U.S. and in unscripted programming around the world," added Tenzer. "FIC is committed to fostering innovative production models, which are supported by its huge global footprint, and I look forward to working with the FIC team to bring these deals to fruition."
