FIC Expands Slate on Hong Kong Broadband Network

HONG KONG: FOX International Channels (FIC) has secured carriage for the Korean entertainment service tvN (Total Variety Network) on Hong Kong Broadband Network’s bbTV platform, which already carries the Nat Geo channels.

“We at Fox International Channels are pleased to partner with Hong Kong Broadband Network to launch tvN," said Rajesh Sheshadri, territory head for Hong Kong at FOX International Channels. "bbTV is one of the fastest-growing platforms in Hong Kong, and aims to provide stellar channels and services to their subscribers. We are very pleased to launch tvN as a basic channel on bbTV. We are sure that tvN will capture the hearts and minds of bbTV subscribers. We hope that tvN is the first of more channels that we will launch with HKBN this year."

FIC has a deal with bbTV to carry National Geographic Channel, Nat Geo Wild and Nat Geo Adventure.
